How much Akshay Kumar charged for his performance at the Ambani pre-wedding?
Billionaires Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding event in Jamnagar has been the talk of the town ever since it kick-started on March 1. The three-day festivities witnessed renowned figures from Bollywood as well as Hollywood. From Rihanna’s performance after a hiatus of 8 years to the three Khans of B-town: Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir performing together, the Ambani wedding set new records. Following the Khans' revelation that they performed without charging any fees, Akshay Kumar has also performed without any fees, as per DNA report.
The Bade Miyan Chote Miyan star impressed everyone with his electrifying performances on several hit songs. He also dedicated the popular Punjabi song “Gur Nalo Ishq Mitha” to the couple. When asked about his performance, he revealed that it was 3 a.m., way ahead of his usual bedtime. He also said that the Ambanis made everyone feel included due to their humble personalities.
Akshay Kumar calls Ambanis “gracious hosts”
The extravagant pre-wedding event has taken the internet by storm with its viral videos. From celebrities performances to the couple’s sweet moments and speeches, the festivities impressed everyone. Akshay Kumar recently opened up to Hindustan Times about his performance. “It happened around 3 in the morning. It was grand of course, but besides that the Ambani family was so loving and caring, they left no stone unturned to make everyone feel included. Anant and Radhika were very gracious hosts, may Mahakaal bless the happy couple,” Kumar said.
Previously, Akshay shared his early routine, in which he revealed that he wakes up around 4 a.m. and then spends some quality time with himself. He also advised everyone to utilize this “me time” with meditation and a calm mind.
