The excitement is only getting bigger with each passing day for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's return to the big screen in Yash Raj Films's ambitious project Pathaan. And now, director Siddharth Anand has shared a connection between Tom Cruise and Shah Rukh!

Spilling the beans on the action scenes, Siddharth said, "Thankfully, we had an A-team that came together to push the visual envelope with Pathaan. I was delighted to have someone like Casey O’Neill on board, who has extensively worked with Tom Cruise."

Producer Aditya Chopra and director Siddharth have set out to create a spy universe. The production house has already built their fan base with three films earlier — Salman Khan-starrers Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, and the Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer War.

As Pathaan is the fourth installment of the successful franchise of the production house, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to deliver the best.

Casey is an Emmy Award-nominated stunt director and he is the man behind Tom Cruise’s death-defying stunts in films like Jack Reacher, the Mission Impossible series, Top Gun: Maverick and several other projects. He is also known for working and winning awards in films like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Captain America Winter Soldier and Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol.

Talking about his experience of working with a celebrated stunt director, Siddharth said, "He brings with him a wealth of experience. He immediately bought into the idea of creating an edge-of-the-seat action for Pathaan that could match what he’s done back in Hollywood. What Casey has created in Pathaan is simply mind-boggling."

Pathaan also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ashutosh Rana, Gautam Rode and Dimple Kapadia. It is releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on January 25.
