For all the fans of MC Stan, who happens to be the winner of the latest season of the Salman Khan hosted reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ (season 16) this news will surely come as a shocker. MC Stan, who has been popularly known as ‘Basti Ka Hasti’, is on an inter-city tour by the same name ‘Basti Kaa Hasti India Tour 2023’ tour. The rapper was all set to perform in Indore yesterday (March 17). But, the show got cancelled after a bunch of people entered the venue and stopped the proceedings, as per a report in Spotboye.

The said news report stated that, the said people (who were in a gang of around 15, as per the viral video) went up on the stage and began blaming the rapper MC Stan of using abusive language/ words in his tracks. One of the persons even asked the crowd as to ‘Which hotel is he (MC Stan) staying in’. The bunch of people reportedly claimed that his (MC Stan’s) songs have a bad influence on the country’s youth. A video which is going viral shows the bunch of people shouting slogans against the rapper MC Stan.

As per a report in PTI, the ones who created a ruckus happened to be the activists of the Karni Sena. These activists halted the show midway alleging that he used foul language in his songs, which polluted young minds. The said report further stated that the police had to use mild force to clear the unrelenting protesters. Anurag Pratap Singh Raghav (Karni Sena's District Unit President) had said that MC Stan was spreading obscenity among youngsters by using foul language in his songs. He added that, the Karni Sena activists took charge of the show after he started using foul language and sang songs containing obscenities in front of the young audience during his performance.

As for the ‘Basti Kaa Hasti India Tour 2023’ tour, the show is scheduled to happen in Nagpur today (March 18). Post which, the rapper will be performing in other cities including Ahmedabad (April 28), Jaipur (April 29), Kolkata (May 6)) and Delhi (May 7).
