Finally the wait is over, the highly-anticipated season three of The Mandalorian is set to release on March 1, 2023. The season will pick up after the final episode of The Book of Boba Fett, where the bounty hunter Din Djarin and his little Yoda pal Grogu finally reunite and are set to embark on new and exciting adventures. They will be heading to the desolate Mandalorian homeland of Mandalore, hoping that Din manages to earn back his Mandalorian status, which was stripped off by the Armorer and the Children of the Watch. The last two seasons along with The Book of Boba Fett have kept fans intrigued and we’re sure you have your own list of questions about the mysteries, puzzles, and possibilities that would possibly unfold in the third season of The Mandalorian. So, for today’s List hai toh hit hai, here’s theorising what we’re likely to find in season three of The Mandalorian.

The DarkSaber

The lore and legends of the DarkSaber which claims the wielder of the weapon as the rightful ruler of Mandalore has been an integral part of the show. But it did open a new array of questions about who will be the rightful ruler of Mandalore. Din won the weapon in combat but having no interest in taking on the pedestal of ruler, he tried to pass it on to Bo-Katan. Nevertheless, since she refuses to wield the weapon illegitimately, the rightful owner is still undecided. So one thing’s for sure, we can expect the Darksaber to deliver as a pivotal plot point in the upcoming season.

The return of Ahsoka Tano and Luke Skywalker

Last seen together in The Book of Boba Fett, both Ahsoka Tano and Luke Skywalker made interesting appearances in the Mandoverse. With Grogu’s decision to skip the Jedi shenanigans, the possibility of Luke’s return is negligible. Although his appearance in the first place was unforeseen, so maybe his character’s arc in this franchise may not be over yet. The Mandalorian season 3 may also open doors for an Ahsoka spinoff series and delve further into her solo adventures. Characters like Greef Karga and Peli Motto will also be appearing in the upcoming season, while fans can expect the return of the classic Star Wars character Boba Fett and Fennec Shand.

Grogu’s origin story

Named Baby Yoda by the fans, Grogu immediately became a fan-favourite after the release of the first season of The Mandalorian. His resemblance to the legendary Jedi Master, Yoda gave rise to many questions about his origins. Fans got a glimpse of Grogu’s origin story when Ahsoka talked to him through the force and revealed his real name and the truth about his early years which were spent at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. In the upcoming season, the audience might get a sense of the person who helped Grogu escape from the hands of Order 66 when the Empire rose to power.

The Heir To Mandalore

With Mando returning to his home planet to revoke his status as a Mandalorian, the uncertainty that lurks over the Mandalorian throne will remain a crucial plot point that may require being fleshed out. The animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels revealed Bo-Katan, a Mandalorian native and the sister of the late Duchess Satine Kryze as the heir to Mandalore. Though she lost the Darksaber, her self-proclamation as the heir to the Mandalorian throne cannot be ruled out entirely. Fans might get to see the ultimate standoff between her and Mando set against the backdrop of the cursed world of Mandalore.

The future of Star Wars

Many are speculating that the upcoming season of The Mandalorian will set the mould for future Star Wars projects. Din Djarin might become a common thread for all the story arcs and set the ground for the untitled Star Wars film set to release in 2025. Foreshadowing and links to other projects are bound to appear in the upcoming season. Mandalore will be brought into the spotlight and Grogu will rise as a new Jedi with new characters and their individual storylines setting the scene for future projects. Which character will manage to win the popularity vote and swing a solo spin-off? That’s something we’ll only know after the new season drops.

The Devastation of Mandalore

Diehard fans already know that the Mandalorians' home world was destroyed at the beginning of the Empire’s reign and their story has always been sidelined in the Star Wars universe. The upcoming season might see the glory of Mandalore which will reposition the cursed land which until now has only been portrayed as empty and uninhabitable. Fans may also get a clearer picture of the story that traces its 24,000 years of honour.

Well thats the OTTplay List hai toh hit hai for today's episode, until the next time its your host Nikhil signing out.
