In an interview with Mid Day, Vijay Vikram Singh spoke about his life’s past, which many may not even be aware of. In the interview, Vijay Vikram Singh said that, there was a phase in his life when he just could not handle failure. This was when he was merely nineteen years old. He revealed in the interview that, since he was not able to handle failure, he had turned to alcohol at that age. He also added that, after he started drinking heavily, he became a victim of depression for 7 long years. He also went onto add that, he was even diagnosed with a life-threatening disease because of alcoholism. He also, very beautifully, explained that, contrary to the poplar ‘belief’ which states that ‘Failure is the opposite of success’… the truth is that there is no opposite of success. If you don’t succeed in any of your endeavours, you have not failed, but you have stumbled and gained experience. And with this experience, one can always come back and work hard and achieve the desired result.
Vijay Vikram Singh also added that, besides all the voiceovers that he does, he also has his own ‘signature programme called the ‘Leadership Voice Programme’ for mid-level and senior level executives. He also delivers lectures at universities and corporates.
