Much before Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan became a couple, Kareena’s sister Karisma was left furious with him. There was a time when she was left fuming because of the Kabir Singh actor. It was even before Shahid became an actor.

One would know well that before becoming an actor himself, Pankaj Kapur’s son was a part of Shiamak Davar’s dance group who performed on stage and in films. It was during his Le Gayi Le Gayi dance on the sets of Dil To Pagal Hai (starring Shah Rukh Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit-Nene) that Karisma got furious with him.

Shahid had once revealed that Lolo had to give 15 retakes for the song because of his hair. “There was one guy who was slightly offbeat. I swear, with really big hair on his head, that’s me,” Shahid remembered while talking to Filmfare.

The actor also remembered how Karisma turned back and asked, “Yeh kaun hai? Kaun hai yeh?” That is when Shahid hid himself and hoped she wouldn’t find him.

“I had just joined Shiamak Davar and my hair used to settle down half a beat after I settled down,” he remembered, calling it not his but the fault of the length of his hair.

Shahid was first noticed in the glamour industry thanks to the music video Aankhon Mein. He then made his Bollywood debut with Ishq Visk opposite Amrita Rao and Shehnaaz Treasurywala.

With that, in the era of Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan, came a chocolate boy who was giving them competition. Within a year, Shahid came in news for his relationship with Kareena. Their first movie together, Fida, released in 2004 and the last movie they shot together while still a couple was Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met, that released in 2007.
