When Rishi Kaushik meets Rohit Sharma

Television heartthrob Rishi Kaushik has been working in Mumbai for a while now. He plays an important character in Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja’s Jhanak. Recently, his social media post with Rohit Sharma – the captain of the Indian men’s cricket team – impressed his fans. 

On his Instagram, Rishi Kaushik posted their photo together and wrote, “With the hitman, Rohit Sharma.” This photo made his fans curious. In fact, the cricketer and the actor worked on a TVC (television commercial) together. While talking to Anandabazar Online, Rishi said, “The shooting took place a few days ago. It was just a schedule of one day. However, there is an embargo on revealing anything else.”

The Feluda Ferot actor auditioned for this TVC in Mumbai. Did he talk with Rohit? The actor said that in Mumbai, people follow strict schedules. They did not chat per se. “We greeted each other. He is busy with his sport. I did not expect that he would talk to me personally,” said the actor. 

Rishi further added that he believes ad films are far more difficult than web series and feature films and that is because an actor needs to express a lot more in less time. Rohit, according to him, is pretty strong in this respect. “We were busy with preparations. He just followed the director’s instructions to the T. He finished the shooting with much calm. We are professionals. I did not want to bother him,” said Rishi Kaushik.
