It is known that Neel Bhattacharya is returning to television on Zee Bangla as the lead of a mega serial. After Krishnokoli and Uma, he is making a comeback as a hero again. However, there are speculations regarding the female lead. It was initially heard that Swikriti Majumder, who played Alo in the serial Alor Kole, would be the female lead.

However, it has now been reported that Shyamoupti Mudly, not Swikriti, will be the female lead. Shyamoupti was seen in the serial Guddi. The new serial will be brought by NIdeas Creations. It has a proposed name, Amar Sangi. However, nothing is confirmed by the channel. The promo might be shot in July.

Shamoupti started her journey with the serial Chokher Bali. He played the lead in Dashi. Then she worked in Bajlo Tomar Alor Benu, Dhrobotara, and Guddi. She stayed away from TV for some time.

After Bangla Medium, Neel debuted on OTT with Boka Bakshote Bondi. He then worked in Klikks Milkshake Murder. He also worked in films. He shared the screen for the first time with his wife Trina Saha in Milkshake Murders.

Shyamoupti and Ranajoy Bishnu's pair was a hit during Guddi and there were rumors about their relationship. Recently, the two worked on a music video. They went to Ladakh to shoot the video. The song was written by Budhaditya Mukherjee and the video was directed by Sayan Roy. Meanwhile, Zee Bangla serials stream on Zee5 and one can watch it on OTTplay Premium.

Several new serials were started on Zee Bangla, including Puber Moyna, Diamond Didi Jindabad, and Malabodol. Malabodol is doing well in the TRP chart and placed in the top five. Diamond Didi is also doing well. But Puber Moyna is performing poorly.
