The stars, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, and the film's director, Ayan Mukerji, are pleased with the success of Brahmastra. In addition to receiving favourable reviews, the movie is doing well at the box office. There are several videos and memes circulating around the movie that are keeping people engaged. However, one Instagram post poked fun of the actor's part as Isha, repeatedly repeating Shiva's name all through the movie by a mime who frequently mimics Alia.

The reason Isha constantly calls Shiva is also explained by Ayan, and Ranbir who plays Shiva.

In an interview with NDTV, Ayan described the reason for the dialogues, adding, "People are making fun of it. I think when I talk, I keep calling people's names a lot. This is my habit. So that stayed in the script and came in the film as well."

Ranbir also expressed his opinion, "We want to tell the audience that Alia and I would always ask Ayan, 'Yaar, her name is Isha, my name is Shiva. Do we have to keep saying it?' But Ayan was very particular that when someone is in love, they have to enjoy saying the name of the person they love. And I think that makes sense."

The Brahmastra team had a group chat called "Brahmastra Feedback" in which everybody could offer feedback, memes, and criticism, including self-deprecating humour, they made the discovery. Most of them appreciate the approach, according to Ranbir, since such talks only take place whenever a movie becomes a part of mainstream culture.

Furthermore, Ranbir and Alia made it clear that they're different from this in real life, as well as their fear that they might have messed up if someone called them by their name.

The pair just appeared together for the first time in their film Brahmastra, which came out in theatres on September 9. The movie is the first in a trilogy that will introduce viewers to the enormous cinematic universe known as the Astraverse. Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna, and Amitabh Bachchan all had significant parts in the film. Shah Rukh Khan also makes a brief appearance in the movie.
