Shikhar Pahariya did not click a picture with Janhvi Kapoor’s father Boney Kapoor at a recent event

Shikhar Pahariya was a part of a recent event, which Boney Kapoor also attended. Shikhar is Janhvi’s rumoured boyfriend, while Boney is her father, and so, the speculations were at an all-time high. During his recent interview, Boney addressed the rumours and finally put an end to them.
What Boney said
Talking to Zoom Speak Easy, Boney said that Shikhar did not want to be clicked. “I don’t know what the reason was, he probably wanted me to have the limelight, so it wouldn’t be diluted by him being there,” he said, further adding that Shikhar probably wanted the headlines to be Boney Kapoor rather than Shikhar and Boney. The film producer then went on to say he was on friendly terms with Shikhar even when Janhvi wasn’t. He stated, “I love him! In fact, a couple of years back, Janhvi was not seeing him, but I was still friendly to him.”
Boney sure Shikhar couldn’t be Janhvi’s ex
In the same interview, Boney said that he knew Shikhar couldn’t be Janhvi’s ex-boyfriend. “I was convinced that he can never be an ex (to Janhvi), he’ll always be around,” he said.
On Kapoor family’s bond with Shikhar
Boney said that Shikhar has always been close with the Kapoor family. He praised the boy for being there for the family in any capacity. The producer recalled how Shikhar was there for Janhvi, Boney as well as Arjun Kapoor. “I feel we are really blessed to have somebody like him in our setup,” he signed off.
Boney Kapoor on the work front
Boney Kapoor is well known for bankrolling projects like Mr. India, Mom and Valimai. His most recent outing is going to be Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan. Directed by Amit Sharma, the sports-drama will be out on April 10, which is Eid holiday. The movie clashes with Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan at the Box Office.
