Will Bawaal clash with Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani? Varun Dhawan has something to say

Just about two days ago, reports suggested that Janhvi Kapoor-Varun Dhawan starrer Bawaal will have its world premiere in Paris. The film is likely to premiere at the iconic Salle Gustave Eiffel in the city.

Since this development, fans are eager to know when the film is likely to be released on Amazon’s Prime Video. While it is not known yet, some reports earlier in the day suggested that Varun Dhawan’s movie Bawaal is likely to clash with Alia Bhatt’s theatrical movie, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

A tweet by film critic Aavishkar claimed that Bawaal is going to be released on July 27, just a day before the theatrical release of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Soon, this tweet started trending on Twitter, many of whom started to believe that all is not well between Alia Bhatt and her best friend from show bizz, Varun Dhawan.

This tweet is deleted at the moment, but its screenshot is viral on the internet. 

Alia and Varun are believed to be each other's best friends and share a great camaraderie with each other since 2012.

Reacting to the development, Varun Dhawan silenced those claiming that Bawaal’s release date is out. In a tweet today afternoon, Varun Dhawan said, “Abb date ko leke #bawaal lekin kamal yeh hain ki humne toh kuch bola nahi.” Clearly, with this tweet, Varun Dhawan has diffused rumours claiming that Alia’s film is going to clash with his film, Bawaal.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, this upcoming drama film is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandsons. The film was announced in 2020 and was wrapped up in July last year. Oftentimes, on social media, the lead of the film, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor shared glimpses from the sets of the film making one wonder what the film is going to be about. Meanwhile, the makers of the film have not disclosed the project’s details.
