Jee Le Zaraa and Don 3 continue to grab attention even though both films face numerous delays. A few weeks ago, Ranveer Singh reportedly stepped away from Don 3 and with that, director Farhan has reportedly put a hold on the film. Now, as per a new report, Farhan wants to focus on Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif's Jee Le Zaraa.

Pinkvilla reported that Farhan Akhtar feels the casting of Don is very important. He wants to be sure who will play the role, and it is a long process. Following this decision, Farhan Akhtar has resumed discussions on Jee Le Zaraa, the highly anticipated film starring Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

"Jee Le Zaraa has always been special for Farhan. With Don 3 taking time at the casting stage, he felt this was the right moment to revive discussions with the original team and push the film forward," the source added.

The source also mentioned that the script for Jee Le Zaraa is already locked, and the delay so far has been mainly due to logistical challenges and date adjustments for the three lead actresses. “If the dates align, the film could finally go on floors in the second half of 2026. Creatively, everything is in place, and it’s now about managing schedules," the source shared. According to the source, Farhan has reached out to the three actresses, and while all are keen, syncing their schedules will be crucial.

Earlier speaking on the Our Stupid Reactions podcast, Farhan Akhtar was asked about Jee Le Zaraa. He said, “I would hate to say that it is shelved. What I will say is that it is put on the back burner. It is a film that will happen."

While Akhtar is unsure of the exact start date, sources say he is thrilled with the “delicious” script. Preparations such as location scouting and music recording have already been completed, and it's just a matter of adjusting the schedule before filming resumes.
