Neem Phooler Madhu — a popular serial on Zee Bangla —- has ruled the TRP chart for weeks with its daily 8 pm slot. The pair of Parna (Pallavi Sharma) and Srijan (Rubel Das) won people’s hearts, while the other characters are also popular. From Babu’s mother to Dhyastamo's Uncle — everyone is a superhit. However, the rumour of the serial getting ended is on the air.

It is heard that the serial will go off air after Puja. The serial has successfully completed two years and consistently stayed in the top five in the TRP list. Still, why such a rumor? Hindustan Times Bangla contacted Rubel Das.

The actor, hearing the question, smiled, “I also heard it. But I don’t have any news that the serial will end. We are shooting for the Puja banking and there is a huge pressure. But we can’t say what happens nowadays. The speculation of it getting ended is not at all acceptable to us. But the makers will decide. Perhaps, the story is coming to an end…’

The Puja is just around the corner and that’s why there is an extra pressure of shooting.

Right now, a strong storyline is reigning Neem Phooler Modhu. After punishing Sweety, people want Parna's memory to come back. Rubel said that people have been expecting for many days that Parna will regain her memory. That is coming gradually, and there are many surprises ahead. I believe people will like it. Currently, the story revolves around how Isha can be taught a lesson.’

The serial was the Bengal topper for countless times. Then why such a decision? Reports say that the makers want to finish it with the standard intact. There is also the rumor of a new serial of Zee Bangla Production coming. Hence it is heard that Neem Phooler Modhu will go off air at the end of October. Meanwhile, the serial streams on Zee5 and is also available on OTTplay Premium.
