Producer JD Majethia stated in a recent interview that the popular television drama Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai would get a third season. The cult series premiered in 2004 and has since become one of television's most popular comedies. In 2017, the sitcom was given a reboot, which was streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.

"Ek aur season banna hi chahiye," Majethia stated in an interview with ETimes. The director-actor shared that they should put in every effort. Everyone is willing to go above and above, and more time is required. People will have to wait for a while, and they must comply with the wishes of the entire country.

When it was aired in 2004, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai was one of the most loved shows on TV. However, it was pulled off the air after a successful run. The show then established a cult following in the years after it first aired. The eagerly anticipated 2017 reboot, on the other hand, did not receive as much praise.

Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Rajesh Kumar, Sumeet Raghavan, and Rupali Ganguly appeared in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. Rupali is now starring in Anupamaa, a popular Star Plus show, and Anupama: Namaste America, streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Rupali revealed in a recent interview with Pinkvilla that she was still a beginner when the first season of Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai premiered and that she looked up to veterans Satish and Ratna on set. Rupali went on to say that the show's cast and staff are like family.

With their eccentricities, the Sarabhais, an affluent Gujarati family in South Bombay, will have you in splits. The show is set in the posh Cuffe Parade neighbourhood of South Mumbai and follows a typical upper-class family. Hats Off Productions was in charge of the show's production.

The show was considered ahead of its time in terms of premise, writing, and average viewership ratings when it first aired, and it has since become a cult classic.
