Will Shah Rukh Khan watch The Archies just because Suhana Khan is featured in it?

Megastar Shah Rukh Khan can't keep calm as his daughter Suhana Khan is going to debut in Bollywood soon. Suhana is going to feature in Zoya Akhtar’s directorial The Archies – a film slated to be out on Netflix soon.

Just about a few hours ago, Shah Rukh Khan showered praises on his daughter Suhana Khan and the entire team of The Archies ahead of the release of the film. In a tweet, he felt nostalgic about his childhood days and expressed, “I remember when I was young (millions of years ago) would book my Archie’s Digest in advance to rent. Nostalgia. I hope Big Moose is also in the film! All the best to the whole cast and love.”

This tweet has been liked by thousands of Twitter users at the moment and the number of likes on the post continues to accelerate upwards. It is clearly evident that this film is one of the most awaited films of the year.

One may feel confident that it is very likely that Shah Rukh Khan will watch the film on Netflix as his daughter is featured in the film. However, such is not the case.

In a tweet today, King Khan of Bollywood cleared the air and said that he is looking forward to the film primarily because it is directed by ace filmmaker Zoya Akhtar and not just because it features Suhana Khan in it.

“Father bias and excitement will always be there but looking forward to a Zoya Akhtar film actually….,” tweeted the 57-year-old father.

Earlier in the day, the official Instagram handle of Netflix India dropped a fresh poster of The Archies. The team of this OTT platform captioned it as, “Dil thaam ke baithe because @archiesnetflix will be kicking into action soon!”

The Archies – a Netflix film directed by Zoya Akhtar – also features Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Aditi Seigal, and Yuvraj Menda in crucial roles.
