Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters of 2023. The film, which featured Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, set new box office records. Despite polarising views, the film worked exceptionally well at the BO. Amid this, Shahid Kapoor was asked if his character Kabir Singh would join Ranbir Kapoor, aka Ranvijay, in Vanga's Animal Park. For the uninitiated, Shahid played the titular role in Sandeep's 2019 film, Kabir Singh.

Will Shahid Kapoor join Animal Park?

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shahid Kapoor said that it is very unlikely that Kabir Singh and Ranvijay could come together for Animal Park. The actor added that certain things are exciting for the audience. However, Shahid mentioned that the ball is not in his court and that it is not easy. "I think the universes are quite different," said Kapoor.

Having said that, Shahid quipped that it would be great if something like that happened but he wondered if it was practically possible, who would write the crossover and more. In his opinion, there are a lot of practical things that happen.

Shahid Kapoor's upcoming movie

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. The actor has collaborated with Kriti Sanon for the first time on the silver screen. The movie has been helmed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, who make their directorial debuts with this project.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya cast and box office

While Shahid essays the role of Aryan, Kriti will be seen as SIFRA (Super Intelligent Female Robot Automation). Besides them, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya also stars Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia, Rakesh Bedi, and more. Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on February 9, 2024. 

If the film strikes the right chord with the audience, it will have a good opening. With positive word of mouth and reviews, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya will have the potential to earn well at the box office.
