Fans of Taylor Swift can’t keep calm! If reports are to be believed, the 33-year-old Hollywood singing sensation is likely to play a significant role in the upcoming action sci-fi film ‘Deadpool 3’. This movie is scheduled to be released in May 2024. Interestingly, these speculations surfaced online just after Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman were clicked alongside the ‘You Belong With Me’ singer.

What’s the buzz?

Recently, Taylor Swift – who has a fanbase of over 273 million Instagram followers – watched the Kansas City Chiefs game live at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium. At the venue, she was cheering for her rumoured boyfriend, sportsperson Travis Kelce. To shower support to Taylor and the American football team, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman were present there as well.

Soon after they all were spotted together, internet users strongly felt that Taylor would be a part of the Deadpool series. For the unfamiliar, Deadpool 3 is expected to feature actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in key roles.

On microblogging site X (formerly called Twitter), one internet user commented, “Taylor Swift is rumored to make an appearance in “Deadpool 3” as ‘Dazzler’ or ‘Lady Deadpool’.”

Another Twitter user said, “It may be true as she’s a close friend with Ryan and Blake. So, he might have had involved her in this.”

One more netizen expressed, “I wanna see Taylor as the Dazzler so bad to be honest! Been hoping this might happen for years.”
