Release date and trailer of Will Trent Season 2

Will Trent Season 2 dropped its trailer on January 9, 2024, and promises to release episodes February 20, 2024, onwards on ABC and the next day on Hulu. The show will see the return of Ramon Rodriguez as the eponymous Will Trent, while Iantha Richardson plays the role of his detective partner Faith Mithell, Sonja Sohn as Angela Wagner, and Jake McLaughlin as Michael Ormewood.

Will Trent Season 2 follows the introduction of a fresh love interest, new cast member Susan Kelechi as Cricket Dolson, who is a bomb expert who may have her eye on Will. Will Trent himself will be exploring his origins as well the real identity of his mother and his familial history. As for Angela, she will be recovering from her severe injuries, thanks to James, from Season 1 finale.

Season 2 will see a new share of crimes. Since Will Trent is a crime scene reading expert, despite his literal dyslexia, Since Will is an expert in reading the crime scene, the new killer does not prefer leaving any clues behind and prefers installing bombs into his crime scene to explode and burn all evidence.
