Vidyut Jammwal has almost always been stereotyped in the action genre. While the actor has accepted that he loves action, he also wants to work on more genres and topics. Is homosexuality one of them? Find out.

The actor, who turned a producer with IB-71, said that while he hasn’t thought about making a film on homosexuality, it is imperative.

Vidyut had recently shared a video where he spoke about erectile dysfunction at length. Reminding people of it, he hinted that it is something he might want to explore in the near future. He shared, “There are many issues on which movies can be made. We don’t talk about erectile dysfunction. I had posted a video on social media talking about it. I think these matters are important.”

The actor-producer however would like to stick to army stories for now. He recalled how even some of his friends were martyred during the Kargil war. The actor has grown up in an army family and so, relates to stories about the brave Indian soldiers.

“My father and grandfather are from the army. I lost my mama in a battle. Many of my friends were martyred during the Kargil war. I feel like I know their stories better,” the actor mentioned.

Vidyut was still leaning towards producing action films. He had nearly three offers too but he thought IB-17 is perfect to debut as a producer.

“I had two-three options as a producer, in action. However, I felt like there should be a film on Intelligence Bureau before that,” he spilled.

When asked if homosexual weddings should be legalized, Vidyut said, "Everybody should have their opinion but freedom of any form is necessary. If we talk about freedom of expression and thought, then everything should be allowed."

IB-17 is directed by Sankalp Reddy and stars Anupam Kher and Vishal Jethwa in pivotal roles along with Vidyut. The film releases in theatres on May 12.
