Wimbledon 2025: Centre Court will have Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic in action this evening, with 6 other matches across courts set to complete the Round of 32

The pool of players in the men’s singles category is shrinking by the day, with the first set of 16 down to 8 who have advanced to Round 4. Chief among them, of course, is defending champion Carlos Alcaraz, followed by Taylor Fritz, Kamil Majchrzak, Cameron Norrie, Andrey Rublev, Karen Khachanov, Nicolas Jarry and Jordan Thompson.
Fritz seemed on course for a straight set match, after two earlier rounds that went into a decider, but then lost the third set, only to spring back and vanquish his opponent with a 6-1 fourth. Alcaraz had to get his act together much earlier, losing the second set after a very dominating first. Khachanov survived a tough fight against Nuno Borges, clinching the match in the very competitive tie-breaker of the last set.
Day 6 is when the remaining 16 contestants hit the courts, each hoping to stay alive in the tournament and return in a couple of days. The main matches are, of course, the ones in centre court, featuring Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic, with the latter, yet again, getting the last match of the day. Ben Shelton (10), Alex de Minaur (11), Jakub Mensik (15), Grigor Dimitrov (19), are the other top seeds playing on July 5.

Match timings listed are subject to change, given the duration of preceding match on each court. Tonight, Jannik Sinner is scheduled to play at 6 pm, followed by Iga Swiatek in the women’s singles and then, does Djokovic get to Centre Court. Although, he has been given a start time of 8.50 pm (IST), highly unlikely he will be on court that early. Meanwhile, the broadcast partner of Wimbledon in India is the Star Sports Network, with live stream of select matches available on JioHotstar, and, by extension on OTTplay Premium.
