Director and producer Soundarya Rajinikanth is awaiting the release of her upcoming production With Love, a romantic comedy drama starring Abishan Jeevinth and Anaswara Rajan. With Soundarya along with the team promoting the film, on the sidelines, also commented on how Yash’s recently released teaser of Toxic, shares a similarity with a certain British show.

What did Soundarya Rajinikanth say about Toxic teaser?

It was some weeks back when the makers of Yash’s upcoming film Toxic released a teaser of the film. Nevertheless, it had created much online debate, thanks to its hypersexual, and testosterone-high content. In the recent, producer Soundarya Rajinikanth, who is currently promoting her upcoming film With Love, spoke about the teaser.

In an interview with Galatta Plus, she called British series Peaky Blinders as 'cult classic' and that is one of the few shows that can be watched multiple times. Calling herself as a big fan of the 'well-made' shows, when asked if she got reminded of it when watching Toxic teaser, Soundarya said, "The setting yes, it was very similar. But having said that, ever since Peaky Blinders came out, there has been a lot of inspiration that people have taken from that series. It happens with global sensation like that. But yes, there were some setting similarities.”

Toxic, directed by Geethu Mohandas, stars Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. It will release on March 19.

When is With Love release date?

Meanwhile, Soundarya’s production With Love is a romantic comedy drama that is directed by debutant Madhan. Tourist Family director Abishan Jeevinth will be making his acting debut with Malayalam actor Anaswara Rajan as the female lead. The film will hit theatres on February 6 just ahead of Valentine’s Day. Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of With Love. Harish Kumar, Kavya Anil, Sacchin Nachiappan, Theni Murugan and Saravanan are also part of the cast.
