The story of Sitaare Zameen Par is distinct from the others, yet the themes of kindness and self-determination remain consistent.

Officially adapted from the 2023 Spanish film Champion" into Hindi, the next film is in the works. The original tale places an irascible basketball coach in charge of a squad of players who have intellectual impairments. To bring it to an Indian context, Sitaare Zameen Par features Aamir Khan as the protagonist and Genelia Deshmukh as his significant other.
