After the three-match ODI series against England and bidding goodbye to legend Jhulan Goswami, the Indian women's cricket team will begin their campaign in the upcoming Women's Asia Cup 2022.
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) had earlier released the schedule for the tournament which will start on October 1, 2022, and will be hosted by Bangladesh.
The reigning champion, who will be having home advantage, will start its title defence against Thailand. As for India, they will face Sri Lanka on the opening day of the tournament.
The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will be playing six league games in 10 days before the probable semifinals. The Women in Blue are the most successful nation in the history of the competition, having won the title six times and will be looking to add one to their cabinet.
