Wonderful World Episode 6 story

Episode 6 of Wonderful World opens with Soo-hyun getting suspicious of Seon-yul's true identity. She digs up old records and information to find his motives and connection with an arson murder case. The episode also shows Kim Joon preparing for his upcoming elections and presidential seat by eliminating competition with Seon-yul's help. Meanwhile, the gambling addict is revealed to be the sole survivor of the fie tragedy that involved Soo-hyun's prison inmate along with Seon-yul's identity as the son of Kwon Ji-Woong.

The episode has the much-awaited confrontation between the two leads, Soo-hyun and Seon-yul.

Wonderful World K-drama Episode 6 review

The seventh episode of Wonderful World has multiple flashback sequences that reveal some key moments in Seon-yul's trauma. It also shows how his family life falls apart after Soo-hyun takes revenge on his father.

The revenge thriller is finally inching closer to its turning point as Cha Eun-woo's character unravels his true motive for helping Soo-hyun. Despite the hatred between the two, the characters are intertwined with the trauma and incessant pain of losing a loved one. While Soo-hyun lost her child and was sentenced to jail, Seon-Yul lost both his parents; one was murdered by Soo-hyun, and the other suffered a horrible fate.

Wonderful World has the themes of vengeance, trauma, and secrets of the past and keeps viewers engaged with its flawless narrative. The 7th episode also increases the suspicion around various characters who are close to Soo-hyun, like Suho and Yuri, as they harbor a dark secret that shakes Soo-hyun's trust. The episode also has flashbacks that show how Seon-yul was planning his revenge since losing his father seven years ago.

Wonderful World’s well-paced narrative and strong characters work to its advantage and make it an easy watch.
