The Women's Premier League (WPL) auction will feature 30 available slots spread across five teams, with nine spots allocated for overseas players.

The stage is set for the upcoming season of the Women's Premier League (WPL) as the auction is scheduled to take place on December 9 in Mumbai. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Saturday that a total of 165 players have registered for the WPL auction, including 104 Indian players and 61 overseas players, with 15 players from associate nations. The auction will feature 30 available slots spread across five teams, with nine spots allocated for overseas players.

West Indies' Deandra Dottin and Australia's Kim Garth have set the highest base price of INR 50 lakh. Among the retained players, 60, including 21 overseas cricketers, will continue with their respective franchises, while 29 players have been released. Additionally, four players are listed in the auction with a base price of INR 40 lakh.
