Writer Padmabhushan: Kannullo Nee Roopame from Suhas, Tina Shilparaj starrer is a catchy number about a lovestruck couple

Suhas, who impressed with his very first film as a solo lead, Colour Photo, has been playing it wise with his script selection later, without being too greedy or impulsive. His next release as a lead is Writer Padmabhushan, a film written and directed by Shanmukha Prashanth. Tina Shilparaj, the leading lady in aha's web show The Baker and the Beauty, is cast as the female lead in the light-hearted entertainer.

Kannullo Nee Roopame, the first single from Writer Padmabhushan, which has music by Shekar Chandra, was launched earlier today. The song starts with the lead pair talking to each other over a phone call after a tiring day. While Suhas is too tired to even initiate the conversation, Tina asks him to be kinder and continue the conversation with some 'lovey dovey' talk. This situation leads to a song where the guy lavishes praise on his lady love and how she has transformed his life for the better.

Bhaskarabhatla's simple lyrics emphasise the little pleasures in a blossoming relationship between a lovestruck couple and this is ably complemented by Shekar Chandra's energetic composition with a catchy musical hook and Dhanunjay's earthy rendition. The pairing of Suhas and Tina Shilparaj isn't exactly conventional but it pans out well on the screen and raises curiosity about the film's premise. Ashish Vidyarthi, Rohini too play crucial roles in the film.

The film is bankrolled by the makers of Major - Anurag Reddy and Sharath Chandra - in collaboration with Chandru Manohar under Chai Bisket Films and Lahari Films.
