Yogi Babu and Ramesh Thilak's Yaanai Mugathaan is here on OTT and is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film dropped on the platform at 12am on May 26. The fantasy comedy marks the Tamil debut of Malayalam director Rejishh Midhila and it had its theatrical release on April 21. The film opened to mixed reviews at the box office.
The plot revolves around an auto driver named Ganesan, played by Ramesh Thilak. And just like his name, he is an ardent devotee of Lord Ganesha. However, his unscrupulous lifestyle often lands him in trouble. One day, the Ganesha idol goes missing. Later, he realises that he is unable to see Lord Ganesha, be it picture frames or idols, and he begins to figure out the reason.

Yogi Babu is seen in a dual role, out of which one is Lord Ganesha himself. The actor is effortless in this satire, which also touches upon superstitious beliefs. The supporting cast includes Urvashi, Karunakaran, Hareesh Peradi, Crane Manohar, Uday Chandra and Naaga Vishaal.
Music for the film is by Bharath Shankar, cinematography by Karthik S Nair and editing by Syalo Sathyan. The satire is bankrolled by The Great Indian Cinemas.
Ramesh Thilak is currently basking in the accolades that he has been receiving for his latest outing, Good Night. The plot revolves around an IT professional battles many upheavals in his personal life, courtesy his snoring problem.
While Manikandan is the protagonist, Ramesh Thilak plays his adorable brother-in-law, who is a huge pillar of support. The film is directed by Vinayak Chandrasekaran and also stars Meetha Raghunath, Raichal Rebecca and Balaji Sakthivel as part of the star cast.
Yogi Babu, on the other hand, is awaiting a series of releases, including Jailer, Sathuranga Vettai 2, Andhagan, Haraa, Maaveeran, Saloon, Ayalaan, Soorapuli and Jawan.
