As he seeks justice, Arjun gets assistance from Porus Likhari, a novelist who wants to use his life story for his next book.

As Arjun and Porus delve deeper, it becomes unclear whether Porus is genuinely helping him or has his own hidden agenda. Yaaran Da Rutbaa also includes subplots related to Arjun's past and a romantic entanglement with Brar's daughter Reet. The film follows Arjun's journey to uncover the conspiracy, leading to a reveal of who actually killed Brar and what's the motive behind it.
