Yamakaathaghi, the recently released Tamil supernatural horror drama which opened to positive reviews, will soon be available for streaming. The film's post-theatrical OTT rights have been bagged by Aha Tamil. Yamakaathaghi will premiere on April 14 on Aha Tamil.

Yamakaathaghi hit theatres on March 7. The 2025 Tamil film is by director Peppin George Jayaseelan, in his debut. The film was shot in a Thanjavur village, with cinematography by Sujith Sarang, with Sreejith Sarang handling the editing and colouring. Actors Roopa Koduvayur, Geetha Kailasam, Narendra Prasath, and others are part of the cast. Yamakaathagi has music by Jecin George. Produced by Srinivasarao Jalakam, and co-produced by Ganapathi Reddy.
After its theatrical run, Yamakaathaghi found its digital home with Aha Tamil and OTTplay Premium. It will stream from April 14 onwards, the platform announced on social media on Thursday. The supernatural drama is about a young woman who dies suddenly. As her grieving family prepares for her funeral, the girl’s spirit and body does not leave the home, making people think that she is out to avenge for her death. Yamakaathaghi opened to fairly positive reviews for its storytelling, performances and technicalities.
