Good News! Bollywood actress Yami Gautam and her husband Aditya Dhar have welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The couple embraced parenthood on the occasion of Akshay Tritya. Today (May 20), Aditya shared the good news with the world about their little one. He shared a heartfelt post on his official Instagram handle. Yami and Aditya have named their child, Vedavid.

Aditya Dhar took this official Instagram handle and wrote, "We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptionally dedicated and wonderful medical professionals at Surya Hospital, especially Dr. Bhupender Awasthi and Dr. Ranjana Dhanu, whose expertise and tireless efforts made this joyous occasion possible (sic)."
The other half of his IG post shed light on the couple's parenthood and the bright future that awaits their son Vedavid. "As we embark on this beautiful journey of parenthood, we eagerly anticipate the bright future that awaits our son. With every milestone he achieves, we are filled with the hope and belief that he will grow to become a beacon of pride for our entire family as well as our beloved nation (sic)," mentioned Dhar.
When Aditya Dhar announced Yami Gautam's pregnancy
For the uninitiated, Aditya Dhar confirmed the news of Yami Gautam's pregnancy at the trailer launch of her film, Article 370. While talking about the film, the filmmaker said working on Article 370 was like a family affair. It is because his brother Lokesh and then-pregnant wife Yami (with their baby) were a part of the film's team. The film, directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, was released in cinemas on February 23, 2024. Yami played a pivotal role in the film, which also featured Priyamani. The film is now available for streaming on the OTT platform Netflix.
