Yami Gautam’s Article 370 finally beats Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone’s Fighter as most loved theatrical release on OTT

Yami Gautam-starring Article 370 was the latest release on OTT and it has left an impact already. The movie has managed to beat Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone’s Fighter, which was the most loved on OTT till last week. This week i.e. for the week of April 19-25, Article 370 is the most loved theatrical release on OTT, at least according to a report on Ormax Media. The film, as one can guess, is about the removal of Article 370 from the Indian constitution.

Yami Gautam’s movie has managed to overthrow Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone’s Fighter from the top spot. Article 370 is helmed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and Yami’s husband Aditya Dhar is the producer of the film. It is Yami and Aditya’s second outing after URI: The Surgical Strike. When Article 370 released in theatres, Yami confirmed her pregnancy by her appearance at the trailer launch of the film. The couple is expecting to be parents for the first time.

Fighter drops to second spot

Siddharth Anand’s Fighter, featuring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles, has finally dropped down the ranks. The movie, which is the story of air force officers on the personal and professional front, was the most loved theatrical release on OTT till last week. This is even though Fighter did not work at the Box Office as expected, given the buzz of the film was at a high ever since it was announced that Hrithik and Deepika will collaborate for a film. Thus, it wasn’t much surprise that Article 370 took over the spot.

The third spot

Shahid Kapoor-Krtii Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya remains at the third spot. The movie has not moved its spot since a long time now. Interestingly, Hanu-Man is out of the list but even then, the movie which is about a scientist falling in love with a robot, is still on the list. It is safe to say that Bollywood is back and for the good.
