Yash-Nusrat Jahan production: Sayantani Ghosh to feature in Baba Yadav directorial?

It has been reported that Yash and Nusrat Jahan are gearing up with their new production venture. Baba Yadav will reportedly direct the film. According to sources, national television actress Sayantani Ghosh may also be a part of the film. 

Moreover, this hardcore commercial action film will follow the path of a Rohit Shetty-like cop universe, it has been reported. It will bring the flavour of Simba, or Bajirao Singham to Tollywood. Yash and Nusrat will be seen as two cops. Sayantani will play the character of a villain. The film may go to the floors by the end of this month. 

Yash and Nusrat have completed shooting Shikar with Rituparna Sengupta. The real-life couple first worked together in Birsa Dasgupta’s One, which also features Prosenjit Chatterjee. Both of them were dating other people during that time. Later, they worked in Ayushman Pratyush’s SOS Kolkata. Mimi Chakraborty also stars in the film. As per rumours, Yash and Nusrat started dating during the shooting of this film.

In a recent interview, Baba Yadav said the whole project has not been finalised yet. “Some castings are yet to be made. 

Meanwhile, in an interview with Anandabazar, Baba Yadav confirmed that he will tie up with Jeet for their Boss franchise. He said that he discussed the third chapter of Boss with Jeet. “Boss is a successful franchise but a lot has to be taken care of,” he said. 

Yash and Nusrat worked in Sheiladitya Moulik’s Master Mashai Aapni Kichhui Dekhenni. However, due to a dispute with the director, Yash opted out of the film. While the shooting was completed, the dubbing was not done.
