“Yash, you are a sensation”: RRR star Ram Charan reacts to KGF Chapter 2 trailer

Birthday boy Ram Charan virtually joined the trailer launch event of KGF Chapter 2 today. Charan launched the Telugu version of the film today and like most stars who attended the launch, he too was full of praise for the film’s trailer.

The RRR star said that he was a big fan of KGF and was very excited for the film, saying “it can’t get bigger than this.” Charan said that he felt director Prashant Neel had ‘outdone himself’, saying that all the characters were neatly defined. The actor also expressed his excitement to see Sanjay Dutt in the role of Adheera as well. He was also full of praise for Yash, aka Rocky Bhai himself.

“Yash, you are a sensation. You have proven that a good film can cross boundaries and reach beyond any little state and you have proved it with KGF. I am extremely proud, Yash (sic),” said Charan.

“Yash believed in Prashant more than Prashant believed in himself. So Yash I am really so proud that you have given this support to Prashant,” he added.

Saying that he was honoured to release the Telugu version of the trailer, Charan also wished the makers the very best and thanked Karan Johar for his support as well.

The Malayalam and Hindi versions of the trailer were launched today by Prithviraj Sukumaran and Farhan Akhtar at the event.

The upcoming film also features Prakash Raj, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Ramachandra Raju, Vasishta N Simha, Saran Sakthi, Archana Jois, Malavika Avinash and Achyuth Kumar.

KGF Chapter 2 will be released in theatres on April 14.
