Yashoda: The second schedule of the Samantha's multilingual thriller commences

There's very little doubt that Samantha is in the most exciting phase of her career, dabbling with projects across multiple languages, going past the quintessential heroine image and establishing her identity across different mediums. While she's awaiting the releases of Shaakuntalam and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal next, she has invested all her energies in wrapping up Yashoda, a multilingual thriller, being helmed by the director duo Hari-Harish.

A crucial second schedule of Yashoda has commenced today. This schedule will have the team shoot a series of emotional sequences featuring the lead pair Samantha, Unni Mukundan in addition to Kalpika, Divya, Priyanka Sharma and Madhurima. The shoot of the film is progressing at a brisk pace. The schedule is set to be completed by Sankranthi. 

While the film is being shot in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously, Yashoda will also have a release in Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar was the latest addition to the cast while veteran actors Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj and Shatru play major roles in this movie too. Popular producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad is bankrolling the film under Sridevi Movies. 

The makers say that they are leaving no stone unturned and are producing this film on a lavish scale. Mani Sharma is scoring the music for the film for which M Sukumar is cranking the camera. Marthand K Venkatesh is on board as the editor with the likes of Pulagam Chinnarayana and Challa Bhagya Lakshmi penning the dialogues. Ashok is the art director for the same.
