The official release date for the third instalment of the Ye Re Ye Re Paisa Marathi comedy film is July 18, 2025. This week, the announcement and film teaser were both released, and fans of the previous films can't wait to see what all the buzz is about.
Promised as an expanded and more hilarious installment of the series, Ye Re Ye Re Paisa 3 is being directed by Sanjay Jadhav, who was also in charge of the previous two installments. The release date announcement shows that the trademark crime-comedy formula and trademark madcap humour will be back in the franchise. Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, which made their comeback in Marathi cinema after Bucket List, is co-producing the film with Ameya Vinod Khopkar Entertainment, Nuclear Arrow Pictures, Udaharnarth Nirmit, and Ameya Vinod Khopkar, in contrast to the previous two films, which had the support of regional production houses.
Many familiar faces will be back for the film, along with some fresh faces. Reprising their roles are Siddharth Jadhav, Sanjay Narvekar, Tejaswini Pandit, Umesh Kamat, and Anand Ingle. Vanita Kharat, Nagesh Bhonsle, and Vishakha Subhedar are all set to join the cast in new and exciting ways and contribute to the film's ensemble.
While specifics of the plot are currently under wraps, the teaser suggests that the story will adhere to the franchise's trademark themes of fast-paced action, misunderstandings, and greed-driven escapades. Arvind Jagtap and Sanjay Jadhav are co-writing the story.
The original Ye Re Ye Re Paisa (stream on ZEE5 [OTTplay Premium]) came out in 2018, and 2019 saw the release of the sequel, Ye Re Ye Re Paisa 2 (stream on Sony LIV [OTTplay Premium]). Both films appealed to a local demographic with their fast-paced, commercial comedies and did well at the box office. The makers seem to be going for a wider demographic with the third film's impending theatrical release and backing from Dharma Productions.
Even though it's still more than a month until Ye Re Ye Re Paisa 3 hits theatres, Marathi filmgoers can't get enough of the massive budget and A-list actors associated with this next installment in the series.
