Telugu star Nithiin is going through the worst phase of his career with back-to-back flops. Already, three of his recent films ended as disasters at the box office, and he pinned all his hopes on his latest film, Thammudu, which was produced by Dil Raju on a massive scale.

Though the trailer created a decent hype, the film performed poorly at the box office, thanks to the illogical narration by director Venu Sreeram. The film was panned so badly that it was out of theaters in just two days of its release.
Thammudu was made on a budget of over ₹ 40 crore, and Dil Raju lost heavily on the film. Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital rights to the film and will stream it in the last week of July 2025.
On the other hand, Nithin has put things aside and started concentrating on his next film, titled Yellamma. Venu Yeldandi, who made the award-winning film Balagam, has locked the script of Yellamma, and the shooting schedules have been planned in such a way that the film will be wrapped up within four months. The makers are planning to release the film early next year, in 2026.
We have now come to know that Nithin is not taking any salary for the film. The news is that Nithiin recently met Dil Raju and revealed to the star producer that he will not charge any money and will only take a share in the profits if the film becomes a hit. The news now is that Yellamma will be made on a very low budget, and Dil Raju has okayed Nithiin's request.
