Telugu star Nithiin is all set to entertain audiences with his upcoming film Robinhood, scheduled for a grand release on March 28, 2025. Directed by Venky Kudumula, the film has generated decent buzz, with Sreeleela playing the female lead.
Meanwhile, Nithiin has also signed Venu Yeldandi’s next project, Yellamma, an emotional social drama, set in the small towns of Telangana. The project was locked with Sai Pallavi as the female lead, but in a recent development, she has walked out due to date issues.
Initially, Yellamma was supposed to go on floors in the first half of 2025, but unforeseen delays have pushed the schedule back. Due to this, Sai Pallavi, who is unable to accommodate new dates, has moved on. This comes as a setback for director Venu Yeldandi, who had banked heavily on her, as the female lead’s role is crucial to the film’s storyline.

In a recent interview, Nithiin expressed his excitement for Yellamma, calling it "one hell of a project" and predicting it to be a box-office success. Venu Yeldandi, a popular comedian-turned-director in Telugu cinema, made a blockbuster debut with Balagam, which not only became a massive hit but also won close to 100 international awards.
Given Dil Raju’s strong backing as the film’s producer, Yellamma remains a highly anticipated project. Even though the film hasn’t gone on floors yet, Nithiin has already started actively promoting it.
Now, with Sai Pallavi exiting, the hunt is on for a new female lead. Reports suggest that Dil Raju is in talks with top South Indian actresses to replace her. The pre-production work is underway, and once Nithiin completes his commitments for Thammudu, Yellamma will begin filming. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project.
