Yodha BTS - 'Man on a mission' Sidharth Malhotra sets guns blazing; talks about his character prep | Watch

Sidharth Malhotra is currently gearing up for the release of his film Yodha. Directed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, the film is an action thriller, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 15, 2024. Ahead of the movie's big screen release, the makers of Yodha dropped a BTS video of Sidharth from the film. The BTS clip features how action sequences of the movie, involving Sidharth, were shot. It also features the actor talking about his character preparation.

Sidharth Malhotra and the makers of Yodha shared the BTS video on Instagram. While posting the glimpse on his official IG account, the Bollywood actor wrote, "Lights, camera and...behind the action! Becoming Arun Katyal and everything else Yodha (sic)." In this film, Sidharth plays the role of Arun Katyal. 

The actor has set the guns blazing and performed action-packed scenes. In the BTS video of Yodha, Malhotra revealed he lost weight for his character. The actor added that a special kind of preparation was done for his role in this action-thriller.

Yodha's unique trailer launch

Last week, the makers of Yodha unveiled the film's trailer. For the first time, a Bollywood movie's trailer was launched mid-air at approximately 37,000 ft. Sidharth along with his co-star Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani and producer Karan Johar were present in an aircraft with the media when the trailer dropped.

While Sidharth Malhotra will be seen as Arun Katyal, Raashii Khanna will essay the role of his wife, Mehreen Katyal in the movie. Disha Patani, on the other hand, plays the character of an air hostess in the film. In the official trailer of Yodha, Sara Ali Khan, too, made a brief appearance as an air hostess. However, details of her character are not known yet. Yodha has been collectively produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva, Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan.
