As far as Yodha is concerned, Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna also play key characters in the film which is co-directed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre. Dharma Productions will be making its debut in the aerial action genre with this project. According to reports, the movie is an action movie based on a real incident that took place in the 1990s. The film is anticipated to release in theatres in 2023 after a pandemic-related delay.

Sidharth was seen as an intense individual in Yodha's first look, which Karan Johar unveiled last year. At the time, Karan said, “After conquering the peaks, I am proud to present Sidharth Malhotra back with power in the first of the action franchise by Dharma Productions - #Yodha. Directed by the dynamic duo - Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha."

Karan and Sidharth have previously collaborated on a number of films, including the actor's breakthrough picture Student of the Year, which also served as Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan's feature debuts.

In terms of his work ventures, Sidharth will appear in the movie Thank God with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh which will release theatrically on October 25. Both audiences and film reviewers have given the movie's trailer favourable reviews. Additionally, he will make an appearance in the Mission Majnu movie, directed by Shantanu Bagchi and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna. Additionally, Sidharth is developing the online series Indian Police Force by Rohit Shetty.
