Karan Johar has been very active on the internet as a producer in the past couple of weeks as he had a show to promote on Amazon Prime Video (Love Storiyaan), a movie up for release (Yodha), and a new announcement that brings back his student Varun Dhawan and his Dhadak girl Janhvi Kapoor to Dharma (Sunny Sanskari Tulsi Kumari) and the wrap on Alia Bhatt’s Jigra. The filmmaker is now dedicating this week to creating hype around the Sidharth Malhotra-starrer that is gearing up for its theatrical release in less than a month. The makers are now planning to release the trailer this week, and Karan is busy doing the countdown. 

The New Poster

On his Instagram handle today, Karan Johar has decided to give the countdown again with three days left until the release of the Yodha trailer. The producer has shared another robust poster for the movie featuring Sidharth Malhotra. We can see the actor as his character dressed in a white t-shirt and black washed jeans with bruises on his body after a very intense combat.

Malhotra can be seen holding a gun, and there is also a gear he is wearing. The poster is set in front of a backdrop that looks like an airplane, which means we can expect combat in the air if the poster is to be believed. The movie is said to have some intense action sequences, and if some take the intensity a notch higher, we must not be surprised.

What stands out in this particular poster of Yodha is the tagline it chose. While all others had ‘Brace For Impact’ until yesterday, and the one that was posted yesterday read, ‘A Hijack Beyond Borders’. The fresh one reads, ‘Rogue Or Rescuer?’ Well, this is a very strong hint at Malhotra’s character progression in the movie. The teaser has only teased enough to create intrigue, and now we wait for the trailer, which will be released in three days from today, February 28.

Sharing the poster on his official Instagram handle, Karan Johar wrote, “The heat is on... We are dropping the Yodha Trailer in just 3 days.” The poster is receiving love from all the fans of the actor and producer who are excited to watch the trailer and the movie. Before these two posters, the makers released the song Zindagi Tere Naam. Sung, composed, and co-written by Vishal Mishra, the song is a love ballad that features Sidharth Malhotra and Raashii Khanna in sweet romantic moments.

As for the movie, Yodha is directed by Sagar Ambre - Pushkar Ojha and written by Ambre. The movie also stars Disha Patani alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Raashii Khanna.
