Not a lot is known about the upcoming season except that Penn Badgley will reprise his role as serial killer Joe Goldberg in the new set of episodes. Also, Lukas Gage of The White Lotus fame has been cast on the show. There are speculations that Pedretti will reprise her role too as a hallucination or a flashback. As the show has already gone on floors, it is being predicted that it will release its new season later this year, perhaps in October, like its Season 3.
The third season of the psychological thriller was out last October and it received critical acclaim. The show was also one of the most viewed shows on the streaming platform. The trend continued for several weeks.
The show You is based on a series of novels by Caroline Kepnes. It tells the story of Penns's Joe Goldberg, a psychopath who is obsessed with his victims and believes he belongs with them. He goes to any extent to get them including stalking, kidnapping, and murder. The new season will reportedly continue the story of Joe from where Season 3 left with Joe follows Marienne (Tati Gabrielle) to Paris.
