Regardless of what happens at Team DC, Shazam actor Zachary Levi will always be proud of the movie.

In a recent media interaction, the lead actor of Shazam, Zachary Levi, has revealed that the latest leadership at DC—comprising James Gunn and Peter Safran—will only elevate the cinematic experience to greater heights with whatever it is that they choose to do.

At the Los Angeles premiere of his latest from the Shazam franchise, Shazam: Fury of the Gods, Zachary commented on DC’s decision to pull the plug on popular films such as Wonder Woman 3, and maintained that he is confident the new leadership will make the right choices.

At the same event, Zachary also revealed that the new leadership was targeting to make an estimated $35 million dollars in the opening week in profits in the domestic market alone. However, the aim was to make a total of $85 million in the first week in itself, globally, according to a report by ETimes.

On the oter hand, trade experts have predicted that the film will make a staggering profit over its $125 million production costs.

Shazam: Fury of the Gods was supposed to release during the Christmas weekend but Warner Bros reportedly didn’t want a box-office battle with James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water and harm its overall collections. Instead, Shazam: Fury of the Gods is now releasing in theatres on March 17, 2023.

Commenting on the movie, lead actor Zachary Levi said, “I am proud of this movie,” and added that he hoped everyone would see the movie and tell their family and friends about it.
