Actress Zayn Khan has shared that being Aamir Khan's niece is a lot of pressure. In a recent interview with News 18, Zayn Marie Khan discussed growing up in a Bollywood household. Zayn is Aamir Khan's cousin, filmmaker Mansoor Khan's daughter.

When asked if she dislikes the 'star kid' label, Zayn said that she had come to terms that this was her background. She added that she had to respect her background, love it, and appreciate it and all the privileges that she gets with her background. She added that at the same time, she did not abuse it or use it in a way that would be unfair.

Zayn went on to express her feelings about the responsibility and pressure of being Aamir Khan's niece. She remarked that it added a lot of pressure. "I think I am very aware of the fact that I am carrying this name on my shoulders and that people I am related to are not just famous, they take their job very seriously. "

She also explained how her family members would become displeased if she did not give her everything to her work and if she is not genuine in her profession. She also explained how it would affect them if she did not commit her full attention to the profession, whether it is a minor or significant role.

Zayn had recently made her radio debut with the programme Droh. She made her acting debut in the 2016 film Kapoor And Sons, playing a minor role. The film's star cast includes Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan, Rajat Kapoor, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Rishi Kapoor. She eventually acted in the Netflix series Mrs. Serial Killer alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, Manoj Bajpayee, and Mohit Raina.

In the meantime, her uncle, Aamir Khan is now in the process of promoting his forthcoming film Lal Singh Chadda. The film stars a slew of performers, including Naga Chaitanya, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Mona Singh. The film is an adaptation of the 1994 super hit film Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks. Lal Singh Chadda will hit theatres on August 11 and Aamir Khan will be seen in the titular role.
