Zee Bangla reshuffling continues as Indranil Chatterjee starts a new serial

Zee Bangla is all geared up with another brand-new serial that will feature Indranil Chatterjee in the lead. The actor, who is known for his character Tipu in Aay Tobe Sohochori in Star Jalsha, will change the channel after five years. 

According to media reports, the promo of the new serial will be released in November. Meanwhile, Pilu has been discontinued and replaced by Mithai. After a successive fall in TRP, Mithai has lost its prime time slot at 8 pm and will now have the slot at 6.30 pm. Another brand new serial Nim Fuller Modhu will take the slot of Mithai. Fans are curious to know which serial will be replaced next. 

Meanwhile, Indranil started with the mega serial Ke Apan Ke Par in 2016. He worked with Star Jalsha for five years. His new heroine is yet to be finalised. In the new serial, he will play the role of a businessman. In a recent interview with a web portal, the actor said, “Every actor wants to work in new roles. I have been with one channel for many years and the audience saw me in romantic roles in the last two serials. However, the role is completely different this time, and people will see me with a new look. Hence I decided to change the channel.”

The promo shoot will take place in early November and if all goes well, his fans can see the promo at the end of the month. As per reports, three serials are on the line to be discontinued and are being discussed in this regard – Lalkuthi, Bodhisattwor Bodhbuddhi, and Ei Path Jodi Na Sesh Hoy. Among them, Bodhisattwor Bodhbuddhi has the lowest TRP.
