Zee Bangla’s Phulki tops the TRP but the afternoon shows fail to impress

This week’s TRP list saw Phulki at the top with a score of 7.5. Star Jalsha’s Kotha is the second, getting 6.9. Phulki and Rohit’s growing closeness raised the TRP. On the other hand, Neem Phuler Modhu failed to keep its audience. The long track of Parna’s amnesia became a bit boring. It is now in the third position.

Geeta LLB, Kon Gopone Mon Bheseche, and Jagaddhatri are jointly in the fourth position, getting 6.4. Uraan is the fifth with a score of 6.2. 

Zee Bangla introduced two new serials in the afternoon slot–Kajol Nodir Jole and Amar Sangee. Both of their ratings are poor. They somehow managed to keep the slots. Zee Bangla serials stream on Zee5 and are also available on OTTplay Premium. 

Kajol Nodir Jole started on August 12, starring Mainak Banerjee, Arunima Halder, and Anindya Chatterjee. This is shown at the 2 PM slot, competing with Star Jalsha’s old serial Bodhuboron. Kajol Nodir Jole scored 1.4 and Bodhuboron scored 1.3. 

Amar Sangee is produced by Prosenjit Chatterjee’s production house. Neel Bhattacharya and Shyamoupti Mudli play the leads here. The serial is shown at the 2.30 PM slot, competing again with Bodhuboron (one-hour episode). Amar Sangee scored 1.8.
