ZEE5, which had a good year with acquisitions in Telugu cinema till now, including Bangarraju, Varudu Kaavalenu, Republic, Rowdy Boys, Malli Modalaindi and Saamanyudu, to name a few, is getting ready for another massive release on the streaming platform. Ajith's actioner, Valimai, directed by H Vinoth, also starring Huma Qureshi, Kartikeya in key roles, is coming to OTT in four languages, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada this weekend i.e. on March 25. 

Ahead of Valimai's OTT premiere on ZEE5, the streaming platform has embarked on a massive promotional campaign in honour of the popularity and the fame that actor Ajith enjoys in Indian cinema. Earlier on Monday, the OTT platform had launched the largest poster (of the size of 10,000 sq ft) featuring Ajith in the film. The poster launch event was organised by ZEE5 amidst the presence of press, media and the ZEE Studio Team at YMCA, Chennai.

One of the biggest releases in 2022, Valimai features Ajith Kumar in the role of an IPS officer Arjun alongside Huma Qureshi. The cop drama with loads of action and emotions was particularly hailed for its stunt sequences and the slick execution is sure to earn the film newer fans with the OTT release. The confrontation sequences between Ajith Kumar and Kartikeya ensured a lot of adrenaline rush for audiences at the theatres.

Written and directed by H. Vinoth, Valimai was produced by Boney Kapoor of Bayview Project LLP in association with Zee Studios. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music for actioner while Nirav Shah was the cinematographer. Incidentally, ZEE5 also has acquired the streaming rights of this week's theatrical release RRR in all South Indian languages.
