Leading OTT platform ZEE5 has kickstarted a free vaccination drive named Sankalpam in Hyderabad on Friday. Beyond entertaining audiences with its content across multiple languages, the platform stressed that the 'good health' of viewers is their imminent priority. The free vaccination drive, aimed to help Hyderabadis confront the pandemic with greater strength, will last for 10 days and culminate on August 8.

The drive is restricted to those who've registered on the platform's portal (https://atm.zee5.com). The vaccination drive is open to anyone who is above 18 years of age and is taking their first or second dose of the vaccine (Covishield, Covaxin). Leading celebrities came forward to encourage people to get vaccinated, including Gods of Dharmapuri, 47 Days actor Satyadev Kancharana, popular television actresses Meghana Lokesh and Deepthi Manne (popular for their serials Kalyana Vaibhogam, Radhamma Koothuru on ZEE Telugu).

As part of the vaccination drive, ZEE5 also unveiled a campaign, Any Time Manoranjanam to popularise the original content, television serials, web shows, news and latest movies on the platform. Satyadev Kancharana talked about how ZEE5's show Gods of Dharmapuri kickstarted his OTT career with a bang and that it was important for people to get vaccinated on a large scale to return to normalcy. Meghana Lokesh and Deepthi expressed their happiness about their shows receiving a wider reach through the ZEE5 app. ZEE5's latest Telugu release was Ravi Babu-directed Crrush.
