Filmmaker Raj Chakraborty surprisingly brings the Hindi remake of Subhashree Ganguly and Ritwick Chakraborty's 2019 Bengali movie, Parineeta, that too in a series version. JioHotstar dropped the teaser of Ziddi Ishq on Thursday. The series is also directed by Raj Chakraborty, however, it features Parambrata Chatterjee and and Aaditi Pohankar in the leads. Ziddi Ishq promises to capture the dark side of love and obsession, and how they ruin people's lives, making them fuel with vengeance.

What's the story of the Parineeta movie
The Bengali movie has the similar storyline with the same character Mehul (played by Subhashree Ganguly) who's secretly in love with Babai Da (played by Ritwick Chakraborty). However, things take a turn in Mehul's life when Babai Da commits suicide, leaving his dark past and the reason of the sudden act all written in a letter for Mehul.
The journey of revenge for Babai Da's suicide begins in Mehul's life as she grows older and joins the company where Babai Da used to work. Mehul eventually brings down the real culprit who created the intense situation in Babai Da's life which led him to attempt the unthinkable act.
