After a record-breaking theatrical run worldwide, Zootopia 2 from Walt Disney Animation Studios finally landed on OTT. The blockbuster sequel is now streaming on JioHotstar from March 13, 2026.

Zootopia 2 is now streaming on JioHotstar, and it is available in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. Meanwhile, the Hindi version features the voice of Shraddha Kapoor as Judy Hopps. The film is 1 hour and 47 minutes long. 

What's the story of Zootopia 2?

Zootopia 2 (2025) follows Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde as they investigate a conspiracy tied to the return of reptiles, particularly a snake named Gary De'Snake, to a city historically shaped by exclusion. 

Their investigation uncovers deep issues of colonialism, gentrification, and systemic bias, revealing that the powerful Lynxley family created the reptilians to seize their land and technology.

Judy and Nick uncover that Tundratown was originally home to reptiles before they were forced out by the Lynxleys. Gary De'Snake wanted to release it, but the Lynxley family produced it. This film explores how capitalism and political power are used to disenfranchise minorities. The film examines the "WildeHopps" partnership under pressure, with the duo learning that their differences make them stronger.

Pawbert Lynxley, a deceptive "Disney twist-villain," masquerades as an ally while quietly furthering his family’s corruption. While the first movie examined the predator-prey relationship, the sequel expands on the metaphor of reptilian exclusion - an ambitious, even sometimes "bloated" attempt to confront deeper social issues.
