Phoebe Waller-Bridge was a part of multiple theatrical projects before appearing in minor roles in British sitcoms and comedy shows such as Bad Education and Blandings. In 2015, she appeared in a supporting role in the British crime series Broadchurch, while the following year she wrote and starred in her first television project, Crashing. The same year saw the premiere of Fleabag, the television adaptation of Waller-Bridge’s solo performance of the same name, while the second season came out in 2019. The show received widespread critical acclaim and multiple accolades including BAFTA awards and Primetime Emmy awards.

She also wrote the spy thriller TV series, Killing Eve, which is an adaptation of the Villanelle novel series by Luke Jennings. Waller-Bridge also co-wrote the screenplay of the James Bond movie, No Time To Die, along with Robert Wade, Neal Purvis and Cary Joji Fukunaga.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge has also appeared in the movies The Iron Lady, Man Up, and Goodbye Christopher Robin. In 2023, she starred in the Indiana Jones movie, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
